Packing List

Feel free to add things to this list or if you have good ideas of other things to bring.

This list is the same for men and women, what changes is that men will be bringing two pants or shorts and t-shirts and women will be bringing pants or dresses or skirts and tops and shirts. For more information, you can watch this video.

Packing checklist:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months after your entry to Brazil)
  • Tourist Visa (if required)
  • Trip Insurance + Medical Insurance
  • Airline Ticket
  • Cash (no travelers check)
  • Credit Card (Mastercard / Visa)
  • White pants
  • White shirts
  • White dresses
  • White tops
  • White skirts
  • White underwear
  • Underwear of any color
  • Socks
  • Sweatshirt, Sweater or Light Coat
  • Casual clothes for evenings and other days
  • Lightweight clothes
  • Swimsuit & Cover Up for Waterfall (any color)
  • Casual shoes and sandals (any color)
  • Sunglasses
  • Alarm Clock (or use cell phone as alarm clock)
  • Sunscreen
  • Journal + Pen
  • Watch
  • Umbrella (for spiritual intervention because it is part of the post-surgery rule to protect yourself from the sun)
  • Eye Mask (for current room)
  • Vitamins, Herbs, Remedies, etc
  • Books, Music, etc
  • Ear Plugs (if you sleep lightly)
  • Insect Repelent
  • Photos of family + friends (and $ for herbs)
  • Your Favorite Snacks
  • Hat for Sun
  • Toiletries
  • Towel for the waterfall (if you want)

NOTE: Keep in mind the voltage in town is 220V, so check your eletronic equipments to see if they are dual voltage. As for blow dryer and flat iron, ourΒ suggestion is to buy them in Abadiania, you will spend around 200 Brazilian Reais for them. You can bring your laptop if want.

NOTE: Your pousada offers laundry service (so you don’t need to overpack). The ratio of white clothes is 2:3 per week: bring two bottoms and three tops.
